The residents

The Heenwerf Estate is also home to two large guard dogs, a cat and a flock of sheep. Not to mention the many birds, such as little owls, kestrels, buzzards, swans and ducks, which regularly fly overhead. In the unspoilt countryside, swift hares, rabbits and pheasants roam freely. They are plentiful. Occasionally we spot a white heron and even the rare bittern during the breeding season.
